For this past week, I've been working on a virtual shooter project. So far, I've only been able to work on a bulk of the programing work. Next to the platformer project, I feel like the vertical shooter game has the most meat going into it's development of all the projects in phase one. At the time of me writing this blog, a lot of the base programming work is nearing completion. Beyond that though, I need to incorporate different art and features to really make it fun. In it's base form, it reminds me of the old Namco Arcade game Xevious, so maybe I'll go for an art direction similar to that. I'll also incorporate more juicy sound effects since there are none at the moment.

The Music I plan to add is from an obscure version of Xevious called Xevious Arrangement. Here's some of the Tracks:

Objects & Forest

Godlike Sea

With that said. Going forward I will make an effort to make this shooter as enjoyable as possible.
